2012 This is an Emergency Call! The Danish Mission Critical Communication Centre Writer · director · producer Educational film series, providing information on The Danish Mission Critical Communication Centre (SINE AGENCY) , a part of The Danish National Police.
2012 – 2009 Highly secret Communication and Training Programme The Danish Mission Critical Communication Centre Writer · digital artist · producer The center incorporates the new digital radio communication system, used by emergency services dealing with public order, safety and health in Denmark. Internal educational training and communication material for police officers, engineers, technicians, the administrative staff and the management. Development of digital educational training material for endusers of the new digital radio terminals. Communication to the public. All work (except communication to the public) carried out under strict duty of confidentiality. 
2011 The Julekalender, Danish version TV2/Denmark Writer · digital artist · producer 16:9 makeover and Blu-ray authoring of the Danish hit TV-series The Julekalender, celebrating its 20th anniversary. Prime time airing on TV2/Zulu and early evening/late night airing on TV2/Denmark in December 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Resulting in a huge come back for the series characters Uffe Rørbæk, Viggo Sommer and Carsten Knudsen, who co-wrote the series together with director and producer Hans-Erik Saks. Setting up a brand new national tour “The Julekoncert” in 2013 and 2015, successfully obtaining sold out shows in all major concert halls in Denmark.

2007 Elvis on My Mind DR TV – DR2 Writer · director · producer Orchestrating one evening with several shows on the Danish Channel DR2 (DR2 Tema). Thirty years after the death of The King Of Rock’n Roll, ELVIS PRESLEY this evening proved that THE KING was more alive than ever before. The documentary “Elvis On My Mind” portraits the sexton Karsten Holm, his life as an Elvis-imatator and his music recording tour to Nashville.
2007 H. C. Andersen Meets Carl Nielsen, DR TV DR2 Producer 2 x 45 min. A lyric and musical artistic execution, in where the works of Danish autor Hans Christian Andersen is mixed with the works of the Danish composer Carl Nielsen. The music is performed by the pianist Lotte Toftemark and Soeren Saetter Larsen plays the role of Hans Christian Andersen. Directed by Torben Skjoedt Jensen. Aired on DR2 in 2006.
2006 The Jacob & Mopse Talkshow DR TV – DR2 Writer · director · producer Talkshow with the Danish entertainer Jacob Haugaard, talking with his dog Mopse. Although Mopses appearance most of the time is confined to a nice nap in his soft muzzle,  the talkshow still is fruitful and content rich. Thanks to Jacob’s quirky and subtle vision, perceptions and opinions, thoughtful and interesting. The duration of each show is between 2 and 6 minutes!
2005 From Spark To Icon Jens Bang – Private Investor Writer · director · producer From Spark To Icon. Based on the book from Jens Bang, son of Peter Bang, co-founder of the Danish design brand BANG & OLUFSEN. Co writer on the script, in collaboration with the director Torben Skjoedt Jensen. A pilot was produced, though the final documentary was not finished before Jens Bang passed away in 2006.
2005 The Tone Of Voice EU MEDIA PROGRAMME Writer Development aid to the crime fiction TV series, 8 x 55 min. A female Dutch rock singer  was killed at a traffic accident in Germany in 1977. As a Swedish journalist starts digging the story he finds the master tapes to an unknown album release with the singer. He gets it published, but from this moment he is a pawn in a big game about fiddling with royalty, murder, jealousy and revenge.
2004 The Royal Wedding Of The Century Billed Bladet Writer · digital artist · producer TV campaign and full-service ad agency work for the Danish celebrity magazine Billed Bladet. Focusing on the sensational wedding between the Danish Crown Prince Frederik and the beautiful and totally unknown girl Mary from Australia. Art Direction and copywrite in cooperation with Soeren Wedderkopp, overall photo- and filmproduction,  design and production of outdoor billboards.

Art Direction on the visual identity of the company, design of logo and Corporate Company Design Manual. Art Direction on print and packaging. Design an engineering of the Company Website.
2004 Vision Clear Bang & Olufsen Writer · director · producer Titled “VisionClear”, this film is a visual story, conveying strategy- and technical information to the worldwide Bang & Olufsen dealers about their flatscreen technology. Hosted by the Bang & Olufsen CEO of the time, Torben Ballegaard Soerensen. Art Direction, overall filmproduction including direction andmotion-graphics.
2003 CWC World TV2/Denmark Co-writer · director · producer CWC World, Prime time comedy-show in 24 episodes, being satire of the TV-media. Starring De Nattergale. Co-writing, Art Direction, Production Design and overall TV-production of the shows. Aired on TV2/Denmark and TV2 ZULU every day in December 2003.
2002 The Julekalender, Norwegian version TV2/Norway Director · producer Rerun in 2002 of the Norwegian hit TV-series The Julekalender, starring Travellin’ Strawberries. This time boosted with the release of several merchandizing items, distributed through The Egmont Gruop, SF-Norge and KIMs. Repeated in 2008.
2001 CWC/ Canal Wild Card TV2/Denmark Co-writer · director · producer Canal Wild Card, Popular early-evening comedy-show in 24 episodes, being satire of the TV-media. Starring De Nattergale. Co-writing, Art Direction, Production Design and overall TV-production of the show. Aired on TV2/Denmark in December 2001.
2001 The Singing Salesman DR TV – DR1 Writer · director Musical comedy series with Jacob Haugaard and Arne Forchhammer. Under development for DR Drama. Executive producer Ingolf Gabold.
2000 Lotte & Jacob on New Adventures TV3/Viasat Writer · producer Lotte & Jacob paa Nye Eventyr. TV travel magazine in 6 episodes, hosted by The Danish entertainer Jakob Hauaard and the Danish model and author Lotte Heise. Aired on TV3/Viasat in 2000 and 2001.
1999 Inside the Walls DR TV – DR2 Producer Indenfor Murene. 6 episodes documentary about the everyday life behind the walls of foreign embassies in Copenhagen.
1997 The Secret Tunnel DR TV – DR1 Co-writer · producer Den Hemmelige Tunnel. Family comedy-show in 24 episodes. Satiric slant on the gigantic construction of the Danish tunnel- and bridge, uniting Denmark in one piece. Starring Christa Bendell, Rasmus Koellgaard, Holger Juul Hansen, Iben Hjejle, Nicolaj Kopernikus, Lars Lippert, Rene Benjamin Hansen, Sofie Stougaard, Ole Lemmeke Niels Ellegaard John Batz etc. Directed by Esben Hoejlund Carlsen. The series’ music was notified to the skies, and to this day THE ZOUNDTRACK is  still popular on iTunes and Spotify.
1997 The Joulukalenteri MTV2 – Finland Producer The Joulukalenteri. Remake of the Danish hit series, with the Finnish artists Trio Saletti. Directed by Jukka Virtanen. The Finnish company Felix Abba signed up to for a total sponsorship.
1996 Princess Goldielocks And The Tree Touring Troubadours TV2 – Norway Co-writer · director · producer Prinsesse Gullhaar & De Tre Omreisende Troubadurer. Comedy-show in 9 episodes, following a poor “rockband” on tour in the Middle Ages. Starring Ivaf Gafseth, Erling Mylius and Tore Johansen. Leading to a special album release, with music from the show. Heavy sponsored by Nidar Bergene.
1996 The Consolation of the Witch Nidar Bergene Producer TV-campaign, promoting the sponsor of “Prinsesse Gullhaar-series” manufacturing several candy products related to the series.
1995 Katja and The Angel Dansk Novellefilm Producer Granny is visiting 7-year old Katja. They make Christmas decorations and tell each other stories, but suddenly Granny becomes ill and has to be taken to hospital. Soon after Katja is visited by an invisible angel that moves into her ear. Katja can’t see the angel, because only those people who are going to die can see angels and ony the ones who need them can hear them speak.
1995 The Sigurd Barrett Special Lamp Show TV2 – Denmark Writer · director · producer The Sigurd Barrett Special Lamp Show. The first TV appearence for Sigurd Barrett. The shows lead to an outstanding carreer for Sigurd, who today are a belowed entertainer for both children and adults.
1994 Monitor TV2 – Denmark Producer Monitor. 6 episode IT magazine, introducing the new medias. Hosted by Caroline Soeborg Ohlsen and Peter Hesseldahl.
1994 Julefergå TV2 – Norway Director · producer Julefergo. 24 episode comedy show with the Norwegian jazz band The Brazz Brothers. The band playing the roles as the staff on a little shuttle ferry, sailing on a provincial part of the Norwegian Westcoast. They discover survivors (Cuban musicians!) on a submerged wreck, and starts an rescue operation. Also leading to a special Brazz Brothers soundtrack release, with music from the show.
1994 Oluf Sand’s Rifled Potato Slices KIMs Writer · director · producer TV-campaign, promoting the special campaign product “Oluf Sand’s Rifla Potetflak” (potato-chips), related to the Norwegina version of The Julekalender. KIMs sold more than 2 million bags of potato-chips in one month.
1993 The Julekalender, Norwegian version TV2 – Norway Co-writer · director · producer The Julekalender. Remake of the Danish hit series, with the Norwegian artists Travelling’ Strawberries.The reception from the Norwegian viewers was even bigger than in Denmark – turning the relatively unknown Norwegian artists to stars in few weeks. Selling more than 150.000 copies of the soundtrack from the series, the series became a gigantic hit in Norway

1992 The Animal In Me TV2 – Denmark Producer Dyret i Mig. (The Animal In Me) A brutally honest portrait of the American singer-songwriter Johnny Cash. A seldom thorough conversation between Johnny Cash and the Danish journalist Svend Rasmussen.
1992 Jacob & Lotte on New Adventures TV2 – Denmark Producer Lotte & Jacob Paa Tur. The two well known Danes, entertainer Jacob Haugaard and model/author Lotte Heise travels together to various destinations. Poular travel series, which lead to the no. 1. place on the viewer charts for TV2/Denmark.

Food and lifestyle programme, mixing wellknown Danish politicians and business executives with the popular ingredient experts Svend Andersen (meat), Heino Joergensen (fish) and Steen Olsen (vegetables)
1991 The Julekalender, Danish version TV2 – Denmark Co-writer · director · producer The Julekalender. 24 episode comedy show with the Danish showband De Nattergale. Aired for the first time every day in December 1991, leading to a national hype. The album “Songs From The Julekalender” sold near 50.000 copies within a months. And the success continued with a video release the year after, selling more than 150.000 copies. The series is afterwards announced as the best Christmas comedy series in Denmark ever. It still gains popularity with new audiences everytime a rerun of the series goes on air, latest December 2014.
1990 Bang & Olufsen Museum Bang & Olufsen Producer Museum. Awardwinning TV-commercial, directed by Niels Malmros. The movie shows a guest, visiting an art gallery. Bang & Olufsen products are represented among the work of art. A custodian with a remote control teases the visitor, making the products come alive in front of him.
1989 The Lul’ Lul’ Rock Magazine TV2/Denmark Director · producer Lul Lul, Rocken Gaar. Rockmusic talkshows and live music, hosted by the Danish rockmusician Sven Gaul from the band tv·2.
1988 On land, at sea and on Motorcycle TV2/Denmark Director · producer Til lands, vands og paa Motorcykel. Half hour comedy show, starring De Nattergale.
1988 It’s Only Rock’n Roll…! TV2/Denmark Co-writer · director · producer It’s Only Rock’n Roll…. In 1988 a new player on the media market was born: TV2/Denmark went on air the first time 1st of October 1988, and on the opening night Saks Film was on air with 1h 40min rock gallashow, multitrack video- and sound-recorded on The Roskilde Festival. This lead to several music specials, and portraits, with among other Leonard Cohen, Georgia Satellites and Midnight Oil.
1988 Hi, My Name Is Mr. Larsen, I have a Special Offer For You My Friend JYSK Writer · director · producer “Go’ Daw, Jeg Hedder Lars Larsen!” The new media player TV2/Denmark opened for commercials in Danish television. The charismatic owner of JYSK, Lars Larsen, performed in his own commercials. This lead to huge popularity, awareness and sales for the company. The campaign is still remembered as a pioneer ind Danish commercial history. The first of many TV-commercials to come in the saks’ tracklist.
1987 Bang & Olufsen at Villa Turque Bang & Olufsen Writer · director · producer Villa Turque. Art video, covering an advanced Bang & Olufsen Beolink installation. Aquired by Swiss luxury watchmaker Ebel, making their famous Le Cobusier house “Villa Turque” (located in the hometown of Ebel and Le Cobusier La Chaux-de-Fonds), the eloquent embodiment of the archivecture and brand values.
1986 The Bang & Olufsen Breakpoint Bang & Olufsen Writer · director · producer Breakpoint. In this gigantic events 900 worldwide B&O dealers was flown in to Marrakech, Marocco, on a three days promotion event.The show was orchestrated from a beautiful temple, with several product releases and entertainment features. All hosted by the newly appointed CEO of Bang & Olufsen, Anders Knutsen.

A touring version of a TV-talkshow, hosted by the brand- and product managers from Bang & Olufsen. Combining the design icons of the century, with a presentation of new Bang & Olufsen, in a music/art video collage. This movie was the first in a row of many promotion and commercial spots produced for the Danish brand.
1983 The Nightingales in the Capital City DR TV – DR1 Director · producer I Hovedstaden. A half hour comedy show, featuring the upcoming show band De Nattergale. Their first own TV-show, recorded on a show-boat in Nyhavn, Copenhagen. The first time the band members Carsten Knudsen, Viggo Sommer and Uffe Roerbaek met with Hans-Erik Saks.
1983 The Golden Age Of Television DR TV – DR1 Writer · director · producer Midt i En TV-tid. A half hour picture poetry, satirical exposing the rise (and foretell the fall) of the upcoming new media: Television!
1983 The Las Vegas Show 1 and 2 DR TV – DR1 Producer Las Vegas 1 & 2. Following the popularity of the first show, DR TV orders two new comedy show with Troels Trier and Rebecca Bruel.
1982 The Sheraton Copenhagen TV-Channel The Sheraton & Royal Hotel Writer · director · producer TV on all rooms followed on The Sheraton Copenhagen Hotel and SAS Royal Hotel. Both aquired the new Saks Film to produce hotel promotion-films like the one from SAS/Scandinavia. This leads to acquirements on TV-commercials from individual Danish design brands like Royal Copenhagen, A.C. Bang Furs and Georg Jensen.
1982 The Stardust Pub DR TV – DR1 Director · producer Stardust Bodega. Half hour comedy show, featuring the comedians Troels Trier and Rebecca Bruel. One of the first DR TV acquisitions by private producers. The first of many music- and entertainment shows to come.
1982 And then the Light Came in Stelton of Denmark Writer · director · producer Art video, portraying the Danish Design Brand Stelton and the designers behind: Arne Jacobsen and Erik Magnussen. Awarded “The Golden Reel” 1983.
1981 The SAS Scandinavia Hotel TV-Channel The SAS Scandinavia Hotel Writer · director · producer Hotel promotion-film. The high profiled hotel was the first hotel in Denmark to install TV-screens on all 545 rooms. By chance, they received a marketing-leaflet from the new Saks Film. Saks’ was acquired to produce a promotion-movie, presenting the hotel facilities and restaurants.
EDUCATIONAL
Member of the board of The Danish Producer Association in the late eighties. From here elected to The Academic Committee, appointed by the board. Together with co-members Max Joergensen, Ebbe Preisler and Erik Crone this led to the founding of the audio-visual assistant education. Hans educated several Audio-Visual Assistants through the nineties. From 2000, the education was called the FTP-Education, (The Film- and TV-Production Education) with universities in Viborg and Copenhagen.
High school diploma (Mathematical Physics line) 1976 from Haderslev Katedralskole.
After ending high school in 1976, Hans moved from his native town Haderslev to Aarhus, which at that time was the Danish rockmusic mecca, a stronghold for upcoming talents. He worked 3 years for his HEartbaby, promoting upcoming rockbands. Among others, Taurus, which later became the Danish hit-band tv2. (Taurus, version 2) Though, he could not make his living, and he decided to head for his other HEartbaby: film- and television. He founded SAKS FILM…..
